“A Very Fine Wine…”
I was lucky to spend a Saturday morning in February with Morgan and Dan – we were all lucky that it was a beautiful and unseasonably warm day!
It’s so sweet when there’s a little something personal behind the locations my couples and I choose for their engagement and pre-wedding photos! For Morgan and Dan, City Winery and Chicago’s Riverwalk mark a very special milestone in their relationship.
Last year, after brunch at a favorite local spot, they decided to head downtown for drinks at the rooftop at the Wit, where Morgan had often stayed when she was visiting Dan from NYC. Along the way, he suggested stopping for a glass of wine at City Winery. After sipping and enjoying the gorgeous views along the Chicago River, Dan confessed that Morgan’s birthday present hadn’t yet arrived, but that he’d decided to get her “this”…which, of course! was her engagement ring!
She said yes, and the rest is history!
So looking forward to their wedding at Moonlight Studios!
