“Love in Queen City”

I was in Charlotte visiting family for Easter when I received an email from Cailtin, asking if I remembered her from her sister Whitney’s wedding, which I had photographed a few years ago. She was recently engaged and wanted to know if I’d be willing to come back for her own wedding and Charlotte engagement session. Of course I did! And, of course I would! I was so honored and couldn’t wait to work with this sweet family again.

In July – in quite the quintessential Charlotte heat – I traveled back to photograph Caitlin and Matt for their Charlotte engagement session. We met a little early to get acquainted, and they couldn’t have been more adorable, obviously head over heels and very comfortable with each other.

They met a little over 3 years ago in the Uptown neighborhood, so for their engagement session, they wanted to visit that area, along with Charlotte’s beautiful Myers Park area.

I was fortunate to have my sister-in-law along with me helping out, and the four of us had such a good time! The city sparkled, and so did Caitlin and Matt. And, don’t forget to check out their gorgeous wedding at the Charlotte Country Club!
